The Ryelarks
A female voice choir of around 40 members who meet every Monday evening in Pickering from 7:30 - 9:00. Our repertoire is varied and includes folk songs, musical theatre, world music and some light pop arrangements.
No prior experience necessary and there are no auditions. Rehearsal tracks are provided to help you learn your parts, so don't worry if you don't read music.
The Ryelarks enjoyed their debut performance at St. Peter's Church in Norton alongside Harmonia and Ryedale Voices in July 2022 and later that year enjoyed performing at some of Pickering's Christmas community events.
In April 2023 The Ryelarks competed at the Eskdale Festival and were thrilled to be awarded 3rd Place in the evening Recital Class! October 2023 saw The Ryelarks give a joint concert with Harrogate Male Voice Choir, and they are looking forward to visiting Harrogate in October 2024 when HMVC will host a second joint event!
